Privacy Rights Notice

You have the following rights with respect to the information you supply to Texas State University via any paper or electronic form(s): 

1.  Upon your request, and with few exceptions, you are entitled to be informed about the information collected about you; 

2.  Upon your request, you are entitled to receive and review the information collected; and 

3.  Upon your request, you are entitled to have Texas State correct any information about you that is incorrect. 

To exercise these rights, address your request to the Texas State office or department(s) to which you submitted the information. That office/department is best equipped to satisfy your request in a timely manner.  Texas State is authorized to recover the cost of gathering and supplying the requested information to you, but may not impose a charge for making any required corrections. For requests to correct information, you may be required to state why you believe the information collected about you is incorrect and, in some cases, Texas State may require proof that the information is incorrect before taking corrective measures.
