Canvas is Texas State's new Learning Management System (LMS). The TXST Canvas web page is where you can find information about the adoption of Canvas, including frequently asked questions and a timeline of events.
To provide our faculty and students with the best possible digital learning environment, the university researched a new tool to replace TRACS. After a nearly two-year evaluation process, and based on input from hundreds of students, faculty, and staff, Canvas was chosen.
