Danielle McEwen Award

Danielle is an IT Project Coordinator in the Mobile/Web Systems department. As the long-term IT Change Manager and product manager for the .NET application ecosystem, Danielle plays a critical role in coordinating work, maintaining continuity, and helping the team respond effectively to evolving needs. Her oversight supports a broad portfolio of locally developed applications and ensures that changes, dependencies, and emerging risks are identified and communicated.

Danielle’s impact extends across several important initiatives. More recently, she has overseen Component Library maintenance updates, monitored Fischer implementation touchpoints with the university’s locally developed identity management tools, and tracked activity associated with the cross-registration project. She is exceptionally organized, communicates clearly, and quickly escalates concerns when issues begin to emerge. Her ability to surface risks early allows the team to respond proactively and make informed decisions before those issues become more disruptive.

Peers often share that Danielle is dependable, thorough, and highly responsive. Her attention to detail, strong communication, and consistent follow-through have strengthened the .NET ecosystem and supported the team through several complex and changing efforts.

Congratulations, Danielle, and thank you. Your organization, product/project leadership, and proactive communication help our team anticipate challenges, coordinate effectively, and respond quickly when circumstances change.
