May 2023 Employee of the Month
The Technology Resources Employee of the Month is chosen based on the individual's recent performance. These folks are creative, dependable, and proactive. They focus on helping their teams deliver innovative, performant, and user-friendly solutions. Most importantly, they share our values and commitment to student success by offering the best technology strategies and tools for all Bobcats.
May 2023 Awardee
Joe Castillo
NSNR
Joe is very well-respected on campus, due both to his technical skills and his very strong focus on customer service. He has a genuine drive to help and is always looking for ways to improve the service he provides to the areas he supports. He has been an important team member on many projects, but most recently has really shone on the project to replace the labrador1 server. This is a complex project, with many moving parts; Joe volunteered to lead the Enterprise Systems involvement and has done an outstanding job of coordinating the project, addressing the technical questions, and taking on many of the hands-on tasks. He is an excellent example of the values the Employee of the Month program seeks to recognize.
